1 beetroot tomato dip
Ingredients
1. Beetroot 1,
2. Tomatoes 3,
3. Oregano 1 tsp,
4. Fresh cream 1/2 cup,
5. Garlic cloves 3-4,
6. Salt.
Method
1. Cook beetroot and tomato in a pressure cooker, take them out once cooked and let them cool down.
2. Grind cooked beetroot and tomato in a grinder along with Garlic. Make a fine paste.
3. Take a big bowl and add beetroot tomato paste, oregano, salt and fresh cream.
4. Mix well and serve with nacho, chips or sandwiches.
2 tamarind date dip
Ingredients
1. Tamarind 1/4 cup,
2. Dates 1/2 cup,
3. Green chilli 3,
4. Garlic cloves 2-3
5. Salt,
6. Red chilli powder 1/4 tsp, optional,
7. Chat masala 1 tbsp,
8. Water.
Method
1. Clean and soak tamarind and dates for 1/2 hour.
2. Now cook tamarind and dates in a pressure cooker or a pan.
3. Once it is cooked, let it cool down completely.
4. Take a grinder and add tamarind, dates, green chillies, garlic cloves, salt and red chilli powder and make a fine paste.
5. Add some water if required.
6. Add chat masala and it is ready to serve.
3. Coconut garlic dip
Ingredients
1. Fresh Coconut grated,
2. Garlic cloves 4-5,
3. Green chilli,
4. Coriander leaves 1/4 cup,
5. Curd 1/2 cup,
6. Salt,
7. Melted butter 1 tbsp.
Method
1. Break and clean the coconut, making small pieces.
2. In the grinder take coconut pieces, green chillies, coriander, garlic cloves and salt and make a fine paste.
3. Take out coconut paste in a bowl, add curd and mix well.
4. Pour melted butter in it, optional.
4. Spinach dip
Ingredients
1. Spinach chopped 1cup,
2. Fresh cream,
3. Cream cheese 1/4 cup,
4. Mayonnaise 3tbsp,
5. Garlic cloves 3-4,
6. Onion chopped,
7. Butter 1tbsp,
8. Salt.
Method
1. Clean and finely chop spinach in a bowl and keep it aside.
2. Take a pan, melt butter add chopped onion sauté till golden brown.
3. Then add chopped tomatoes, and mashed garlic and sauté.
4. Last add fresh cream and salt and mix well.
5. Turn off the flame and add cream cheese and mayonnaise. Mix well.
6. The spinach dip is ready to be served.
5. Paneer cheese dip
Ingredients
1. Paneer/tofu 1/2 cup,
2. Cream cheese 1/4 cup,
3. Mayonnaise 1/4 cup,
4. Oregano 1 tbsp,
5. Salt
6. Black paper,
7. Chilli flakes,
Method
1. Grate paneer/tofu with the help of greater and keep it aside.
2. Take a bowl and add mayonnaise, cream cheese and grated paneer.
3. Then add black paper, oregano, chilli flakes and salt.
4. Mix well and serve.
These are easy, cold dip recipes for parties with few ingredients which you can eat with chips, fries or nacho.
