Palak paneer | frozen spinach palak


Today we are going to check how to make palak paneer in 2 different types. Restaurant-style palak paneer recipe at home whit easy steps also Punjabi Dhaba style palak paneer ki recipe Which is available with Hindi translator. 

 1.Palak Paneer       recipe 

Ingredients 


1. Palak/ spinach or can use frozen spinach 2cups

2. Paneer/tofu 250gm,

3. Green chilli 3-4,

4. Garlic cloves 5-6,

5. Ginger 1/2 inch, 

6. Oil 3 tbsp,

7. Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp, 

8. Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp, 

9. Butter 1tsp,

10. Salt as per taste, 

11. Annul Cream 2tbsp,

12. Coldwater. 

13. Dried red chilli for Tadka, 

14. Oil 1tsp for Tadka, 

15. Bay leaves 2,

16. Garam masala 1/4tsp. 







preparation 


1. Cut paneer in cubs. Keep a few cubes for garnishing. 

2. wash and clean palak/ spinach and put it in boiling water but if you are using frozen spinach do not directly add it to boiling water, let it come to room temperature and then add to hot water and Slow down the flame. 

3. In a preheated pan add butter once it melts add paneer cubes and fry till light golden brown. 

4. Remove paneer cubes from the pan and add them to cold water. 

5. Now take cooked palak and add it to the grinder along with green chilli, garlic and ginger. Make a fine paste and keep it aside. 

6. In a preheated deep pan/ deep skillet add oil,  crack mustard seeds and cumin seeds. 

7. Once the seeds are cracked add spinach/palak paste and let it boil for a while, do not overcook it will change the colour of the palak paste. Then add garam masala.

8. Now it's time to 1 tbsp of cream and mix, then add paneer which we fried light brown, to the palak paste. 

9. Heat 1 tsp oil for Tadka add mustard seeds 1/4 tsp, bay leaves and dried red chilli and pour it into palak paneer

10. Garnish with amul cream 1 tbsp and grated paneer. 

10. Serve with roti/bread/naan/paratha and enjoy. 






2.Dhaba-style palak paneer 





Ingredients 


1. Spinach/palak 3 cups, 

2. Paneer/ tofu 250 grams, 

3. Oil 3tbsp,

4. Ginger garlic paste 1tbsp, try to use fresh paste, 

5. Green chilli chopped 1tbsp,

6. Finley chopped onion 1/2cup, and tomato 1/2
Cup, 

7. Cream 1/2 cup, for garnish and paneer marination, 

8. Black paper 1/4 tsp, 

9. Chilli flakes, 

10. Pinch of salt. 



preparation 


 1. Clean, wash and finley 
chop spinach/ palak. 

2. Cut paneer into cubes and marinate with cream and salt. Keep aside. 

3. In another pan heat oil and add chopped onion and tomatoes fry them till leaves the oil. 

4. Once the onion is ready add garlic and ginger paste, chopped green chillies and finally chopped spinach/palak to it. 

5. When palak is cooked add cream and mix well, leave on the flame for another few minutes. 

6. Now add black paper powder, and chilli flakes and let it fry. 

7. Finally add paneer, slow down the flame and cover for 1 minute. 

8. Now garnish with cream and serve with roti/naan/paratha/bread.
