This is the best cheesy baked spinach recipe for which you don't need to boil spinach before cooking, it is quick and yet tasty. A unique version of spinach and Paneer. Let's have a look at simple to-make Baked Spinach with mozzarella cheese
Baked Spinach with paneer.
Ingredients
1. Butter 2 tbsp,
2. Refined Flour 1/4 tbsp,
3. Milk 1/4 cup,
4. Grated Cheese 1cup,
5. Mozzarella cheese,
6. Oregano 1tbsp,
7. Chilli flakes 1/2 tbsp,
8. Fresh cream 1/4 cup,
9. Pepper 1/2 tbsp,
10. Nutmeg powder 1/4 tsp,
10. Spinach finely chopped 2 1/2 bunches,
11. Paneer; grated and chopped 150 gm,
12. Tomatoes sliced 3,
13. Grated garlic 1/2 tbsp,
14. Onion slices 4,
Method
1. To Make White Sauce: Melt butter in a pan on low heat add flour and roast for 2-3 minutes. Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly, to make the sauce lumps-free. Bring to a boil.
2. Remove from flame, and add cheese, salt, oregano, chilli flakes and nutmeg powder Blend well. Keep aside.
3. Clean and chop spinach add salt and black paper and mix well. keep it aside.
4. Marinate paneer cubes with fresh cream salt and oregano. Mix well and keep aside to assemble later.
4. Grease a baking dish/borosil dish with butter.
5. Spread the spinach in the baking dish, keeping some spinach for the top layer.
5. Put the paneer cubes over it and the sparkle-graded paneer also.
6. Pour white sauce over the paneer, and put some tomato and onion slices over it.
7. Finally add a lot of cheese layer over it. Then the Spinach layer we saved for the top layer.
8. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven in the drip tray.
9. Bake at 200°C. Temperature
6. Serve hot with garlic bread, bread or naan.
